Nameys for Bloggeys
I've been thinking of some different names for my blog that I'm trying to invent. It's becoming clear that the one that I eventually focus on will not be this here Regular Chickens one.
Did you know that in French-speaking countries, the word cassette, as in cassette tape, is often abbreviated "K7"? I think that's real cool.
So some of the namey candidates that I recently scrawled across the cover of one of my notebooks are:
1. Mmmff (mmmff.blogspot.com)
2. ohmyshit [or] omyshit (ohmyshit.blogspot.com [or] omyshit.blogspot.com [or] oms.blogspot.com)
3. not even one STD (neostd.blogspot.com)
4. fuck fuck shit fuck (ffsf.blogspot.com)
[and / or]
4.5 shit shit fuck shit (ssfs.blogspot.com)
X. theinternet.blogspot.com, spain.blogspot.com, rap.blogspot.com
Key:
1. This was the crust-shedding (<--- maybe an overstatement) product of the beginning of today's brainstorm, graciously aided by caffeine. Anyway, "Mmmff" was initially the sound of forcing something out of your head (like an idea, or a spontaneous growth), but now it might be a bit more fluid--just a sound that could be applied to multiple things.
2. Mmmff...not sure.
3. This would have to be anchored around the subject of my oft partying downstairs neighbors, and other associated bullshit.
4/4.5 Not necessarily attached to a particular idea, but phrases generated by my friend Brian back in high school.
X. Pretty much throwaways, random and slightly ironic ideas that might be fun.
valueadded.blogspot.com ....here's another one. I've come across this term "value-added" quite often. It seems to fit in with a few other terms, like "pro-rated," that don't really mean anything to me. Maybe I could start a blog about adding value. We'll see what happens.
I like the idea of something that works based on its own system, that has a logic, but not an instantly intuitive one. This is not so much the product of a desire to be esoteric as the product of a desire to create something confusing, yet interesting and maybe investigatable. I also just like the idea, really.
Okay. Time to do some looking around the web log osphere and see what I can see.
